ForumArts Sculpture Symposium. Open call for artists. Commission.

CALL FOR ARTISTS. Deadline April 15th

Dates of the Symposium: 12th- 24th July 2016

Place: Riverhill, Sevenoaks, Kent, UK.

Who can apply: Uk based and International Artists

The Symposium is an 11 day residency opportunity for 5 selected artists to make an entirely new sculpture in response to Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, to work alongside other artists and to discuss their work. London Sculpture Workshop will provide workshop facilities. During the symposium, we will organise discussions between the artists, members of the public and curators. There will also be other art related events including theatre productions and a night time sculpture spectacle, in addition to social events for the artists. At the end of the Symposium, the sculptures will be part of an exhibition at Riverhill for the duration of summer 2016 and 2017.

In 2017 there will be a London Sculpture Conference at which the artists will present the work made during the Symposium.

Travel costs, meals and a materials budget of £500 will be provided.
